Votes were cast and it was a tie between using Stealth or Speed. In a classic RPG move, I rolled a 1d6 to determine which attribute to use, and the answer was Stealth!
So, without further ado, here’s the next part of the adventure!
Derilion’s Attributes
Choice Seven
“Derilion’s Stealth is 10. I rolled an 11 on 2d6 (a 5 and a 6), so Derilion failed the Stealth test.”
Derilion crept as silently as possible, hoping the darkness would aid her movement. After a few steps, she felt her foot knock against something on the floor, making a clanging sound. Almost immediately, she saw a green flash and felt the spell slamming into her back.
Deduct 3 from Derilion's Health.
“Derilion’s Health is now 27.”
She staggered forwards and into a recess in the wall, where she took a moment to decide her next move.
Derilion knew strong spells took time to cast, so if she was going to take advantage of that she needed to use her Speed. Trouble was it was almost darkness now, so she would also have to use either Detection or Agility to try and avoid any obstacles.
“Derilion’s Speed is 11. I rolled a 4 on 2d6 (a 3 and a 1), so Derilion passed the Speed test.”
Derilion moved quickly forward and was pleased when no spells were cast, though she did hear something thud into the wall just behind her.
Now, she had to choose between Detection or Agility to help her progress.
