Hello!
I hope you’re keeping well.
How was ‘The Watchtower’? Did you make it? How many times were you thwarted before you reached the summit?
I really hope you enjoyed it.

I wanted to share with you the first paragraph of the next adventure ‘Vents!’.
Think John McClane as a stowaway on a spaceship!
I’d love to hear what you think!
A Branching Narrative:
Vents!
1
You wake with a start, confused by all the noise. There are at least two different alarms blaring, and you can hear people moving around on the ship.
You look towards the compartment door, worried someone may open it and see you lying amongst the light cargo. Clearly, this was not the best space faring vessel to stowaway on.
"Toxic gas detected," a computerised voice announces over the noise. "Venting required."
Then, almost immediately after it, comes another.
"Venting system malfunction."
The perfect solar storm, you think. You scan the room trying to work out your next move. You don't want to leave the compartment - a stowaway's life is risky enough without wilfully giving yourself up.
You stand and look around, and it's then you see the green gas, very slowly entering the compartment under the bottom of what should be a sealed door. Either there's something wrong with the door seal, or the gas is corrosive.
You haven't got long. If you can find a space suit, perhaps you can find safer quarters. Momentarily, you think about opening the door and trying to locate the crew compartment but dismiss it; you don't know how deadly the gas is.
That leaves the boxes in the compartment. There are five you can see. Fortunately, the crowbar you brought on board as a weapon in case you needed to threaten someone should be good enough to open most of them.
There's a large green box, a medium scarlet box, a smaller yellow box, a long purple box leaning against the wall and a sky-blue box on a shelf towards the top of the room.
The gas is at 20% Saturation already. The table below shows the effects of the gas should you remain unprotected.
Saturation Effect
0-49% No effect
50% All attributes are -1
60% All attributes are -2
70% All attributes are -3
80% All attributes are -4
81%+ Unconsciousness and death.
What do you want to do?
Vents! arrives in October, and sees you attempting to survive a gas leak on the spaceship you stowed away on, your going to need all your skills, experience and a little luck to get you through.
Ready?
Speak soon and stay safe,
Simon
Excited for this!
