Hi,
I hope you’re well.
In an attempt to be a better communicator, here’s a screenshot from today:
Yes, it’s supposed to be blurry!
I was inspired the other day by a fantasy dungeon map, and decided to start writing something small and fun. I’ve currently just completed section 82, and suspect it will pass 200, which is enjoyable.
When I originally started this Substack, my hope was to put out an adventure every month for paid subscribers. That’s difficult - too difficult with everything else going on.
So, I’ve decided I’ll send out a full adventure (approx 200 sections) every 3 months for paid subscribers, with the free subscribers getting the first 20 paragraphs or so like before.
In the other months, I’m open to suggestions on the sort of content paid subscribers should receive. Please let me know by replying to this message. Ideally, it wouldn’t include lots of art, as I can’t draw, and it’d cost me money! So, something more inventive, writing based.
I’ll turn on subscriptions again on Monday, so you have a little time to decide what you’d like to do.
Also, I wanted to let you know our gamebooks are currently 15% off if you buy them in a bundle - be it PDF, Hyperlinked, Paperback or Hardback.
Head on over to the website to check them out.
Speak soon and stay safe,
Simon
Wow. That map looks complex! I always wondered how you'd keep track of the options.
